Boston Trip Part I

We flew into Boston on Wednesday and went out for Marco's birthday.

We drove down to Provincetown (P-Town) on Thursday.  It was a little rainy and gray, but it cleared up eventually.  Still a beautiful view!

That night we had dinner at The Red Inn with Jimmy and Raife and their close friends and family.
All Marc wanted to do was practice walking.

On Friday we were able to spend some time walking around P-Town.

We had lunch at The Lobster Pot, a very well-known establishment in P-Town.  Jimmy used to tend bar there before they opened Jimmy's Hideaway.

The Bloody Mary's were delicious!  So was the food.

THE WEDDING!!....

The wedding was beautiful.  They had a few chairs towards the front and everyone else stood.  They just kinda had people move to the side and it formed an aisle.

I know, the shoes... I had her wear her pretty black shoes the night before, with no tights.  She had blisters all over her feet and I just couldn't force her to wear those shoes again.

I love the look on Jimmy's face.

The ceremony was very nice, short and sweet.  They each wrote their own vows and they were beautiful.  It was so neat to hear Jimmy and Raife pronounced "married by the State of Massachusetts!"  I'm glad my children are being raised in a world of acceptance rather than hate.  You know times are changing when Marc can say he attended his first gay wedding when he was ONE, and Mikey and I attended our first gay wedding when we were 33!

And of course, you can't have a McNulty wedding without the ankle dance!
Love the matching Paul Frank boxers!

I thought I'd be all sneaky and try to snap a picture of this guy all dressed up.  Well, he caught me!  So he grabbed Mikey and posed!  Hilarious!

The next morning we walked down to the Red Inn and they were taking down the tent.  What a gorgeous view and such a beautiful day...

We decided to head downtown again.

This picture cracks me up.

This dog was so adorable.  It's a Goldendoodle.  Golden Retriever/Poodle.

It was a little windy out on the pier!

Tired babies cuddling with Dad.
That night, Jimmy and Raife invited us all to the local athletic center for a pool party.  They had dinner catered and everyone swam and played in the indoor pool.  The kids were in heaven!

Belly flop

So we totally forgot to bring swim diapers.  The bathing suit didn't really fit without anything to hold it up. Oh well, cute photo op!!  Mikey says he looks like Gramps!

One of many of Pam's appearances... Isn't she lovely? :-)
