Last Days in the Texas House

As moving day was approaching, little Marc-Man started using the potty more and more. So I went out and got him some big-boy undies. These were the smallest ones I could find! My poor petite little boy :-)

He's so proud!

Their last bath in our big soaking tub!

Emmery finally did allow me to polish her toenails, but guess who demanded painted toes too? Yep, Marc! Mikey came home from work and said, "do NOT get a picture of that and do NOT put it on Facebook!" Well I didn't put it on Facebook but I couldn't resist snapping a picture. Just building up my arsenal of blackmail pictures for the teen years!

Snakes in the Library?

The local library was having some reptile guy as a special event for the kids. I thought Emmery and Marc would love it. It was so crowded though, so we were far away and couldn't see much. Once Emmery learned we couldn't touch any of the animals she lost interest real quick! We took the opportunity to check out some books while we were there.

She loves doing the self-check-out. Such a big girl!

I did a coconut deep conditioning treatment on my hair so I had on a hairnet. Of COURSE the kids had to try it too!!

Goofballs...

Daddy Flies

Mikey had to make a couple trips to Boston for his new job, which was tough (on me). But we managed! I don't know how some of these moms do it when their husbands travel more than they are home.
I thought it would be neat for the kids to do an airplane craft since daddy was doing a lot of flying.

Emme got to paint both planes, and the next day they both glued on the parts. With both of them working and me trying to take pictures I wasn't able to help them much with placement of the parts. They did pretty good with minimal help!!

Swimming and Woodlands Childrens Museum

Marc loves the water just like his big sister. He has figured out how to kick to keep himself up and he's so close to getting his head above water! I bet he'll be swimming on his own next summer.

He has no qualms about going under water!

We took the kids to the Woodlands Children's Museum and they loved it. It was cool because it was smaller than most. It had lots of cute stuff for younger kids, so it was perfect for us.

She's so domestic, not sure where she gets that... must be daddy! :-)

A little girl came by and took like one piece of fruit. He was not happy!

He would take out one thing at a time and say what it was...

CARROT!!
TOMATO!!

Uhhh.....???
