The next day we went to the New England Aquarium. Mikey's friend Josh was able to hook us up with free tickets which was so nice of him.
The seal tank was on the outside, so before we even went in we got to see some seals. The kids were so excited.
The layout of the aquarium was very cool. In the middle is a huge tank with sharks and other sea life. The whole bottom surrounding the tank is the penguin habitat. So right when you walk in this is what you see.
Marc gives kisses now. Open-mouthed most of the time, but still kisses. So cute.
Did you spot the stone fish? Pretty cool!
We got to see the diver go into the tank and feed the turtles and sharks.
Some more random shots.
It was so cute, one morning we were all just hanging out. Marc was playing with this teddy bear, next thing you know he's just laying there. I think he was trying to tell me he was ready for his nap!
So Kathy has been dying to cut Emmery's hair. Since I had a hair appointment we brought Em in too. This is Pepe, he has been cutting Kathy's hair since she was pregnant with Mikey!!! Maybe even before that. Crazy! So Pepe cut a tiny bit off the ends, I really didn't want to do much more than that ;-) Emmery did great, sat still and sucked on her lollipop.
I noticed on the door that leads down to the basement Marc has been keeping a growth chart of the kids. So we put Emmery up there. Forgot to do Marc though! Next time!

Boston Trip Part II
On Saturday Mikey and I got up early and drove back to Boston to run our 5k. We did fine, there were a lot of hills and I managed to make my existing blisters much worse, but it was still a nice run.
The weather for this whole trip was amazing, not too hot, not too cold. I realized that I have never been to New England during the fall. We come here for the holidays or the summer but never in the fall. The trees were just breathtaking. I can't believe I didn't take more pictures but sometimes pictures just don't do it justice. After the 5k Mikey took a longer route back just so I could enjoy the incredible colors.
We took the kids and Max to the Children's Museum. It was an awesome museum, lots of stuff for toddlers. Em and Max had a blast.
These were "musical chairs." When you sat on one, it played music. Each one played a different instrument.
This was cool, a green screen...
...you stand in front of it and you're on TV!
Flying the airplane. This freaked her out a little, she wanted to get out of there. Not really sure why, but I'm glad she wasn't scared when we got on an actual plane.
Making a fabric collage in the art area. It was nice to go during the week, no crowds!
So the museum was 3 stories high, and they had this huge structure at the entrance for the kids to climb in. Emmery went right in and got almost to the top and then just laid there. I walked up the stairs next to her and asked what she was doing. She said she was taking a nap. I told her that she couldn't take a nap in the climb, but she wouldn't budge. She didn't seem scared, I actually think she was just really tired. So guess who got to climb in there with her to get her out? That was not fun, some of the pass-throughs were tiny, I barely squeezed through. Sheesh!
See her pink pants up there?
